The interior is lined in burgundy leather with a "love letter" zipper compartment under the first flap, an "outer" slit pocket under the second flap, and an interior compartment with two open pockets separated by a "lipstick" compartment.

This bag has a faint "closet smell/odor" to the interior leather from storage.
